What is your goal?
I want to lose 2 to 3 lbs per week to have a flat tummy. I'm keeping a healthy lifestyle right now. Eating only fruits and vegetables. How about you? What is your ultimate fitness vision?

Took the words out of my mouth!! This is exactly what I want as my goal, but clearly it's been failing. I've been fluctuating from 190-194 for the past few weeks, but I also started eating bad carbs again..blehh

Well I have a few goals but the ULTIMATE goal would be healthy, go off my blood preassure meds and, comfortable in my own body.I could also add not to be the biggest chic in my group of friends . I have always been overweight/obese.
My most current goal is to lose 100lbs and join The 100lb Club. Thank goodness I am almost there. I never thought I could stick with it as long as I have. My thinking has been so different. I look at losing weight as my lifestyle not a diet. Its helped me so so much thinking this way.

you cannot get good lasting results eating "only" fruits and veg. you NEED protein and fat in your diet.
if you don't have fat in your diet, you will be unable to absorb vitamins D, A, E, and K (which is crucial for blood clotting).
i'm on a VLCD of 750 cal/day (i have to lose a total of roughly 100lbs, maybe a bit more - we'll see when we get closer to that end of the scale) and have lost 16lbs since march 1st but i still eat eggs, meat, fish, etc. the only thing i don't eat is processed grains (bread, pasta, etc) bec they make me feel like crap when i eat them (probably a *that*-close-to-getting-diabetes-again thing).
it's important to have a healthy balance diet in order to get the best results - temporary diet = temporary results.
learn proper eating habits and you will have permanent results.

I was just curious, is the VLCD something that doctor directed or something you just decide to do yourself? I've been wanting to try this but I keep hearing that it's bad to eat below your bmr etc etc, so I haven't, but I was just curious since I'm beginning to see the VLCD a lot around the threads.

My ultimate goal is to weigh between 120 and 130 and continue living healthy so that my weight isn't a constant nagging worry in the back of my mind.

My overall goal is to make my little boy proud. He always tells me that he wants me to be skinny and though that sounds mean, I know his heart is in the right place. I love the way he lights up when he sees me exercise and maybe once I get passed the phase of wanting to exercise alone, I will welcome both my boys to exercise with me.
I also want to be able to show my kids that anything is possible when you put everything into it; from eating the right way to being fit. It's a slow road, but I know in time we'll all get there.

My goal is to be around 130 pounds, but more importantly to be fit and healthy. I am starting to develop some health problems related to my weight and before it gets out of hand, I have decided to take better care of myself.

I want to lose 80-100 pounds eventually. I'm hoping with a diet/exercise change that it can become reality and not just a goal.

2) not to be the fatty amongst friends, id like to be equal
3) to feel comfy in my own skin. i dont really have a goal weight as such, im just going to keep going till i feel happy
