Red face Switched from Atkins to WW This Week!

So, I have been on Atkins since JAN 1, 2012 and have lost 43 pounds. I did great with it, but I slowly started burning out. At time I could have killed someone for some of their oatmeal lol. After much contemplation I decided to switch over to Weight Watchers. I have lost before on weight watchers, and I know I can do it again.

Does anyone have any experience with transitioning over? I didnt do it cold turkey, I slowly started to *** some carbs back in over 2 weeks, but this Monday I just went full blown WW. Any advice or feedback would be appreciated!

Well all I can tell you is that ww works for me since it is more balanced than Adkins...when I was doing that back in the day my craving for fruits and veggies was mind blowing and I got so tired of protien.
With ww since they stress balance and good nutriun that at least I can live with instead of depriving my self anything I just 'budget' it in.

btw welcome!

I was on Atkins 3 years ago. I did great on Atkins, lost 30lbs but couldn't continue eating that way any longer. It didn't fit my lifestyle and I was always starving/depressed. I just recently joined weight watchers and I love it! I hope you will like it as well, Welcome!

I have done great on both. I haven't done Atkins in a very long time, but I did it my senior year of high school and lost about 20 pounds, but got completely burnt out in about 2 months. I'm on WW and have lost 43 pounds in about 5 months.
Good luck and welcome back!
