Default What kind of flour do you use?

I found this recipe for YUMMY butternut squash hash and the recipe calls for 2 tbsp all purpose flour

Other than whole wheat flour (which I'll probably end up using) what would you use instead of white flour?

I've tried garbanzo bean flour and couldn't stomach it.....so anything other than that. I'm looking for something mild and ideally flavor-less.

I have used almond flour for white flour substitutes when it's in small quantities like that.

I think it is just a binder and aids a bit in crisping. I would try a small quantity subbing 2 egg whites for the whole egg and the flour. It will a bit "fluffier" but quite a calorie saving and "all natural"
