When I go, I drink only water for beverages. I would also pack something very easy to eat at mealtimes. Often the people with and I will pack lunches and go back to the cars to eat. It's an extra little walk, but it saves money and calories. And we don't have to carry food with us.
If you don't want to leave the park, maybe pack some sliced pita bread and a little thing of hummus and some fresh veggies. Maybe a piece of fruit.
And if you really want a treat while you're there, pick one thing and split it with someone (or several someones). Then you can have some and not eat too much of it.
