Default Chia Seeds?

So, I've been using ground flax seed for a while now. I love the extra bulk - really makes me...um...feel like a regular gal.

Today, I was reading about chia seeds. Apparently they hold 9 times their weight in water, making you keep the water in your stomach longer, and ultimately feeling fuller, longer.

Has anyone tried this stuff yet? I was pretty sold just by the reviews on amazon, so I now have a 2 lb pack on the way- but was interested to see if anyone else uses it.

I have been using chia for a little while when I can remember it! I like it more than flax because it has no taste (on a salad) like flax does and you don't have to grind it for your body to use it like you do flax. I do still use flax because I have some to use up and I think variety is good. I haven't been very adventurous with it yet, mostly just sprinkle on my salads and use in smoothies so far.

Ive heard of them, even saw a commercial which was kinda weird to me because all I could think about was this:

They sound interesting though, I'd like to hear what you think after you've tried them.
