Hello? Anybody out there?
Hope everyone had a great start to the week.
I still haven't picked up my multivitamin- but it's on my to-do list this week.
This week in the 52 small changes- it talks about having a buffer zone in the home. Using a mud room where you can keep your outdoor shoes/clothes and any allergens on them outside of your living area- making your house inside cleaner & easier to clean (supposedly). I'll read the rest of the chapter & let you know what I think.
So- tomorrow is the chocolate day of the year.
I will likely make chocolate mousse for my family.
How about you??

Again, I keep forgetting there's a new thread every week and keep going back to the old one . . . only to see the link to the new thread. I'm just

Made brownies and choc chips yesterday . . . they are plowing through them like it's the last time they'll ever get them.

Hope everyone is staying OP, or at least trying to stay OP. Every off-plan choice can be turned around into an on-plan choice the very next time you eat. Remember -- nothing ever tastes as good as being thin feels (or so I've heard!)

40:34 5K today. I got cleared to run and drive yesterday.

The news on my elbow is not great, but all are agreed that I can resume running and driving -- but not Body Pump -- and that I probably should have a CT scan. My mother said she thought she saw a second fragment.

I am hoping to get down to 155 or less before my BFF commences the shopping for my MOH dress. I would like to be sure (well, minus my, um, 32H chest) that I fit into the samples. There's no way in Hades that I'll fit into anything smaller than a 12, but if I can zip the bottoms, that will make me happy.

No chocolate for me today -- DH and I are going out for Cajun and I'd rather have the rice!

I'm plugging along and hoping that the 1 lb gain was a fluke and that I haven't plateaued.....

Congratulations to our Biggest Winners!!!!!

Hi Red Team
After being lazy for a couple of weeks I went to the gym and worked out yesterday. Today I'm going to go in and lift weights and use the elliptical because I don't thin I will have time on Thursday. I also want to play with DD's Wii, she has a Abba Dance game that is fun and involves a lot of moving around. Thinking ahead to summer, a while back we had a badmitten set put up ( I know it's spelled wrong, just can't get it to look right) in the yard and played a lot, I need to find a place and do it again this summer.
I've decided to start phase 1 of the South Beach diet, it's the one that has worked best for me over the years, I lost 40 lbs using it several years ago, but then my thyroid flared and I gained about 30 back. This time my thyroid won't get in my way.
I need to go and start getting my sewing supplies and fabric stash out, time to think of some summer clothes.
Have a great week
Bette K

Hi team, looks like everyone is having a stellar week so far!

Wuv- Hooray for the birthday bike & cruising on the boardwalk.

Lukesmom- no chocolate! You are stronger than me! WTG!

BetteK- good for you, back to the gym! Oh- Dancing to Abba sound like fun!

Shanhat- look at that 5k time drop!! Running agrees with you- bone chip or no bone chip.

Sarati- you decide if it was a fluke or not. You have the power!

Loise_seal- I put the link there just for you

Mary shady- yay for the scale going in the right direction. Good to see you.

Zogo- dark chocolate has been an acquired taste for me, but now I LOVE it. Lindt makes a dark chocolate bar filled with chili & cherry- yum. One square hits the spot.

So back to the 52 small changes- it was talking about keeping the outside irritants outside. Don't wear shoes in the house etc. we tend do so this since DH works in a lab, so the first thing when we get home is wash hands & change out of our work/school clothes. Is this something you do at home?

Mel, I figured you did. heh Thx.

Last week? Stellar in the loss department. This week? Scale is stubbornly staying put despite being OP. Hmmm, do I sense a pattern here? Having lots of trouble getting the h20 in (had some kind of a bug, sore throat since Sat). Better now and am aiming for 6 16oz glasses today and tomorrow. Am determined to get the scale to nudge down by Sat, even if only 1/2 lb. Grrrr . . . . . . .

I'm having a 'I feel fat' day today. Blah. Hate these days.
I'm sure it's due to TOM knocking on the door.
Trying to nip it in the bud & go walk the dog.
Will hit the gym while the kids have swim lessons tonight.
How do you beat the blahs?

This is going to expose me for the Becky Bloomwood in training that I am, but I go try on clothes.

Because even on my fat days, I'm at least 2 sizes smaller than I was 6 months ago.

I know I should say I go for a run or eat some salad ... but I go shopping.

(I usually don't buy anything though.)
