Default What scale do you use?

Hello! I've been keeping track of my weight loss with a scale I bought at Walmart a couple years ago, the brand name is Taylor I think. But I was wondering, what scales does everyone else use? Mine only cost about 20 dollars and I'm not completely sure of the accuracy. Thanks!

I use a Salter that I got from Bed Bath and Beyond. It was $39. You can try out all the scales in the store there so I tried it several times and it was the same each time I stepped on. I've had taylor scales, health-o-meters and they have all sucked.

I'd say go to BB&B and get a quality scale so you don't always have to wonder whether it is accurate or not.

I use a cheap 20-dollar digital one. I don't know if it's completely accurate or not, but I don't think it matters much. I mean, it doesn't matter if I started at 155 and got down to 150 or if I started at 150 and got down to 145 - what matters is that I lost 5 pounds. So as long as your scale is consistent (whether it's totally accurate or not), it should be perfectly usable for you.

Like BigChiefHoho said, precision matters more than accuracy. I use a Weight Watchers Conair scale. It's probably not perfectly accurate, but it does show me how many pounds I've lost.

i have a cheap health-o-meter scale from walmart. It seems to work fine. Last time I was weighed in a doctors office, it matched the scale within a pound

This is the scale I use.

I believe it is both precise and accurate. As I can stand on it and then pick up weights and my weight always changes exactly by the amount of the weights I am holding from 5-40 lbs. It also weighs the same each time I step on it on weigh-in day. (I always have to step off and then back on to make sure my new weight is for real.)
