Default Red Team 2012 Resolution Revolution Exercise Thread Week 1 (01/01-01/08)

For an effective weight loss program it is important to incorporate exercise as well as making better dietary choices. While any kind of exercise is good for you, it has been proven many times over that just cardio or just strength training isn't the way to go...you need to have a combination of both, with a little bit of core focus as well. So as you plan out and track your exercise this week, be sure to get in 2-3 strength workouts and 2-3 cardio sessions. And don't forget about those abs! Copy and paste the follow format and come back throughout the week to edit your original post. Let’s move those bodies!

Monday- None (sick)
Tuesday- 30 minutes treadmill (first day of couch 2 5k), weights 30 minutes 3sets of 12 on 5 machines, elliptical 15 minutes (cooldown)
Wednesday- 2 mile WATP dvd
Thursday-30 min treadmill (2nd day couch 25k), weights 30 minutes, elliptical 20 minutes
Friday- none, just lazy, big workout tomorrow
Saturday-30 min treadmill (3rd day couch 25k), weights 30 minutes, elliptical 20 minutes

Monday-Walk Away the Pounds: 2 Mile Brisk Walk + 1.5-mile dog walking
Tuesday-1 hr of yoga/pilates + 2-mile dog walking
Wednesday-Dog walking (2 miles)
Thursday-WATP (1 mile) + Dog walking (2 miles)
Friday-Dog walking (2 miles) + Grocery shopping
Saturday-Dog walking (2 miles) + 2-mile errands walk
Sunday-Dog walking (2 miles)

Tuesday- 12,723 steps; stairs at work 2x; 40 min dog walk, 30 modified push ups

Thursday- None
Friday- Firm Cardio Party, (31) + Firm Total Body Time Crunch, (25) + CF's Step, Jump, and Pump All Weights premix, (19) + stretching, (8) = 83 mins.
Saturday- None
Sunday- Cathe Friedrich's High Step Training, (60) + CF's Muscle Max, upper body premix, (33) = 93 mins
Total: 5/7 days & 433.5
