Default Question about weighing....

I have a digital scale and when I step on it sometimes it gives me different weights. I always go by the one that is most consecutive(more than once).

Anyhow this morning I stepped on the scale and it first said 262lbs, then said 266lbs, then 3 times after that it said 258lbs.

What should I go by, the highest it said, or the 3 consecutive ones?

Does it always do this? do you still have your receipt - take it back.

my scale is pretty accurate. I asked the store before I paid for it if I could take it back and they said yes.... up to one year.

if it's an older scale - do you need to replace the batteries? or maybe get a new one?

That's what I am thinking....battery replacement needed. We've had this scale for a couple years now at least

My scale has one of those lithium batteries. can't replace it. I'd freak out if I got a new scale. But mine does tend to fluctuate when I get on & off. I'd love to pay big bucks for one of those digital doctor ones!!!

If I get two out of three to agree, I use that one. If not, I take the highest.
