Default I bought a Vita-Mix..

But now I am kicking myself! I bought it off Ebay this morning (seller has sold lots of vita-mixes and has great long-term feedback)... BUT.. of course it's not going to come with the top to bottom Warranty if I had bought it straight from Vita-mix!!

Darn! I was so excited Wish I had thought more carefully about it. An option is that as soon as I recieve it I can put it straight on Ebay, sell it, and then buy one from Vita-mix...

I feel like they are way too expensive not to have a warranty..!!

I love my Vitamix! Besides the obvious smoothie use, it's great for making hummus! I also love making hot vegetable soups with it - dump the stuff in, fire it up, leave the room (it's really loud), and come back in 6 minutes to hot soup! I almost made some for dinner tonight, but changed my mind last minute and had scrambled eggs.

Whatever you decide, enjoy it. It's really an amazing machine!

If the seller is legitimate (the mixers are new, and no refurbished, stolen or knock-offs) the warranty probably will still apply.

Call the company to be sure (they may need a receipt as proof of sale - which is easy enough to print off on ebay).

I'm sorry you're worried about the warranty. But congrats on your awesome new mixer!!!! I want one of those, too!
