Hey everyone!

I went down to my sister's house yesterday and baked some holiday cookies, and hung out.

I'm happy to say that I only ate one of my favorite cookies (whew!), because that certainly could've been worse. Overall had a good day with her and her family

I'm looking forward to the rest of December (I do so love this time of year), but this week my husband is going out of town again, and that means a struggle for me with ordering out, etc. We shall see. One day at a time.

Lovely, I don't know how you did that, just eating ONE cookie LOL

Last friday night, the bf was begging me to make him some cookies (he helped me, of course) because he was craving for some dessert. So we made chocolat chip cookies. I brought some to my downstairs neighbor, and even with that, I ate TONS of them over the weekend.

I still managed to control my other food though... at least!

I have to admit something though.

I kinda stopped tracking.

Not completly, I'm still making decision like ''okay, time to stop now'' and mesuring my pasta/rice portions, but I'm not writing down anymore what I eat. I'm doing not so bad, I'm still loosing. That is a super confidence boost, like I know how to eat now, so maintaining eventually does not seem so frightening anymore!

I still have to be more carefull for the cookies, though LOL

I WI at 148.2 lbs this morning making it a 0.4 lbs loss for the last week. It's not massive, but my last week loss was huge, so 0.4 lbs is totally fine with me

Only a couple weeks left to the challenge! We can do it!

Oh my to both of you -- all that baking and I have not even started any! I did see a recipe for some molassas cookie that were just 2pp each so I am going to make them next weekend.

Turbo if you are still losing/maintaining without strict tracking good for you! I am not at that poiont yet.

Well did not lose or gain this week even though I stayed on point and only missed one day of working out..but on that day is the day I ate almost a whole veggie delight pizza from papa murphys so I guess the maintaning is ok

Turbo: I haven't tracked since the first few days of my journey (back in early October). I have found that trying to track stresses me out to the point of gaining. I've only had one week that I've gained and that was 1 pound.....I also started TOM that day! The next week (Thanksgiving) I lost that pound plus another .8 I've had lots of success in keeping count in my head and not writing down!! 11.8 pounds to be exact!

I didn't weigh in today....Had an MRI so I hope to weigh in "officially" in the morning. According to my scale I was down 2 more pounds, but I don't know how accurate it is!

I have the beginnings of a really bad cold and I just feel "blah". Wicked sore throat, cough, and stuffy nose. However, my sister in law who lives with me just got over pneumonia and I'm worried that it could be that. Is that contagious? LOL

Made some tea this morning to ease my throat and am stocked with cough drops for work.

Yay for smaller clothes fitting!!! When I started loosing, I was wearing size 22 jeans.....The week before Thanksgiving I bought a new pair of jeans in a size 20.....They fall off if I'm not careful! I will say, they are stretch jeans instead of regular...But I'm excited that I will be able to buy a size 18 (maybe even 16 in the stretch) next time I go to WalMart.

Smaller clothing sizes are definitely one of the coolest things ever!!! There are so many milestones that can be hit just by a pair of pants I actually kept the one pair of dress pants I wore all the time to school from when I started....they were a size 22. Now I am in a size 12/14 and I hope to take one of those "standing in one pant leg" pictures at some point

Isn't it amazing how a small thing like a pair of pants or skirt one size smaller can boost your whole mental outlook?

I have to say it has been all the support from this forum and these 8 week challenges that have kept me going..

So...hats off to us Chicks!

Hey all!

This week was the time off '' going through the closet and getting rid of tons of clothes that were not fitting anymore (well, not trashing them but I'll give them so somebody I know)

There was so much more place in my closet that I had the OBLIGATION to go shopping. LOL

I have to pre-Christmas dinner this weekend, tonight and tomorrow. I really want to pay attention to the quantity of food (and wine!) I'll put in my mouth! yikes!

OK I lost 3.6 this week!! I'm on

This is my biggest weekly loss since starting WW in the Summer. I really think its because I track..I don't eat all "diet" foods. I just watch my points and it works! I'm so happy, feeling very motivated
