Phase 1 is the strictest part of this eating plan, but it's only for 14 days, and you will be amazed at how it will squelch your cravings. Phase 1 is the detox period to prepare you for Phase 2, which you can follow as long as you like.
To help you get through Phase 1 easily, it's a good idea to plan your menus in advance, and be sure to include dairy and legumes every day, along with at least 4 1/2 cups of vegetables. The beans and dairy will help keep you feeling full and satisfied.
