hello
i'm not new to dieting or 3fc but i am new to south beach. after lurking around for a while, i decided to pick up the book yesterday and give it a go. i found the book immediately at goodwill and am pretty excited.
i have the longest history with weight watchers in terms of organized plans for dieting, but in the last few months i've noticed a sugar situation going on in my kitchen and have decided i need to nip it. sugar is not something i typically gravitate towards but seems to be a bit insidious; once you start eating it, you seem to never want to stop. weird but true--at least for me
what i like about sbd is the focus on whole foods; i have been a strict vegetarian for the last 4 years (no meat, eggs, dairy) but have recently re-started eating fish.
i'm excited to embark on a new lifestyle and get this sugar monkey off my back!! thanks for reading!
