Default My K-9 Child

Cade adopted me about a year and a half ago. He is a two year old Dalmatian that was a rescue from Canada. He is my fourth Dalmatian and is most definitely the most silly one I have had.

He is full of energy, which is great because it makes me get my butt in gear to go for walks, go outside to play, etc. He just discovered that he loves the water this past summer, so we spent a lot of time at the lake. Yeah...me in a bathing suit...the things we do for our children

That is so great! Good for you for rescueing. We have Collies and they all like to go for walks with me. It makes the walking so much more enjoyable! None of them really likes the water very well, so no swimming for us.

So cute! Is that a planter he's laying in? Funny puppy. What part of Canada was he rescued from? I have 2 rescue border collie crosses who also love the water, they're very active and get me going as well. Not excersizing a border collie is NOT an option! I haven't known many dals but I've heard they're very high energy also.

Dals are very energetic which also means not going for those walks is not an option. This works very well for me because then even when I don't feel like exercising, he makes me.

He is laying in a planter. I was outside painting and he apparently felt he was not getting the attention he deserved, so he decided to do something silly so I would pay attention to him.

I got him from the SPCA in Western Quebec. Great people there! I live in Maine and saw his picture on-line and just couldn't say no to that adorable face. He is my second rescue dog and is what I will do from now on.

Your pups are adorable! Don't you love that they make you exercise

So sweet that you rescue!
He is adorable!
Both of my dogs love to go for walks, one of them I can take running with me and he's such a motivator because when I think I can't run another step, he won't let me stop. I've achieved more than I thought I could with him running with me! I guess I need to take him to a 5k with me so I can finish faster lol!

What a pretty boy! I used to have a Dal; they're sweethearts.
