Red Team Fall Frenzy 2011 Chat Week 4 (10/10-10/16)
Here we go RED TEAM
Ready for week 4?!
Where/who do you look to for inspiration? While I cruise around here on 3 Fat Chicks, I also read a lot of blogs by other successful losers. I know we can't post the links here, but some names you may recognize: Lynn's weigh; Finding Radiance; 110 pounds & Counting; MizFit. How about you?
RED Team Week 3 Results
Biggest Loser:
SHAN84 (-5.8lbs, -1,84%) for the 2nd Week in a Row
Honourable Mentions:
NEMom (-6lbs, -3.45%)- would have been biggest loser, but did not post on chat thread
wuv2bloved (-5lbs, -1.63%)
Munchey (-3lbs, -1.47%)
We lost 7 Team members this week- Let's band together & stay strong!
Congrats goes out to Shan, NEmom, Wuv2bloved and Munchey! You guys inspire me to stay focused on my goals and keep pushing forward!
Week 4: It's time to try some new strategies to get this weight off before TOM shows up next week.
Mini-goals: Drink more water, lower dairy and carb consumption, add 2 weight training workouts to schedule and increase total exercise time from 650 mins to 700 mins for the week. (Crazy but doable. Working my way back up to 720 mins a week long-term. Treadmill walk/run in a.m. and weight training or dance dvd at night.)
Mel: I read a bunch of blogs too! Big fan of MizFit, Carrots 'N' Cake and fitbottomedgirls! Plus Shape and Fitness magazine. It helps to read about "normal" women that manage to include healthy nutrition and exercise into their lives. "What one woman can do, another can do."
I am so happy I convinced DH to try 30 Day Shred with me on Saturday. I kicked his butt and he was feeling sore by that night. But Sunday morning he woke up and asked me if I wanted to workout again. Um, YES, I guess my progress is rubbing off!
Congrats to all the losers from last week. On to week 4 .
Hope everyone has a great week. I don't have anything special going on this week but I am in a little bit of a panic in trying to put my life back together and making a plan for my immediate future.
Congratulations Red Team! Way to bring it!
Now is the time to stick together and keep our eyes on the prize. Like Mel said we lost 7 people this week! I want to see everyone on here finish up strong.
We are committed to win it! By Losing it! (you know what I mean )
WOOHOO!!!....I was one of the top losers this week that is awesome!!....had a wonderful weekend with Family and friends on the beach watching the classic cars drive by. Lets Get busy with the weight loss and get it off!!...Let's GO RED!!!
Woohoo way to go reds! And congrats to Shan, NEMom, wuv2bloved and Munchey!
For inspiration, I find myself going back to a girl called Lauren's success story right here on 3fc. We're similar heights, similar starting weights, similar starting ages, pretty much the same shape and she really has transformed dramatically. My Mum even looked at her before photos and said "Oh my, she's practically you!!" so she never fails to inspire me!
I have been actually busy with work today and yesterday plus got some shopping in. I had my WI today and loss another 2lbs, I was wanting 3lbs so that I would be OUT of the 300's but I guess it will happen NEXT week
I did watch BL last night, was pretty sad that she voted off coach Mike but his interview at the end was great, he looked fantastic!
Aw, I haven't watched BL yet and I'm sad to see who got voted out.
Home from vacation and trying to catch up. Sooooo much laundry!! Feels so good getting eating back on track after having to make some necessary compromises during vacation. My 10 days away from home re-confirmed my happiness with the decision to eat Paleo. In 10 days of eating Paleo 50-60% of the time my body felt tired, bloated, headachy, stressed, my eczema came back big time and my skin is icky. I woke up this morning for the first time since leaving home feeling good and refreshed.
