Default Haven't been posting, and for once it's not because I gave up!

Hi friends! I think I can finally declare that I have made that elusive "lifestyle change"! I quit smoking back in the late spring, and since computer time was a trigger for me, I was laying very low on the internet time. In the past when I quit posting here, it was because I had gone back to my "old ways" and was hiding from the issue. Now I can honestly say I just keep doing what I do, the weight is still coming off (albeit a little more slowly these days ) and I feel like this is how the rest of my life can be enjoyed! I don't know how I had the will to just hold on with a death grip there in the beginning until the changes started to stick, but whatever it was in me, I am so thankful. Now I'm just living - active, fun, and free. Not starving miserable, totally in control. At peace!! Have a fantastic day, everyone!!!

That's great! I think that it's really impressive you found out what your trigger was for smoking and cut back.

Congratulations on your amazing success so far with your lifestyle changes!!!! I think the point one finds out they can happily live with their lifestyle change forever is the day one knows they've succeeded in this journey. Somedays I feel like I'm at that point, other days not so much. But I am getting closer to finding that peace permanently. So I do recognize how major your achievement is! Well done!
