Question 45 and searching for diet

I tried and was successful with Atkins in my 30's but I can't seem to get the same results in my 40's. Any suggestions or anyone finding the same problem. Need solutions. Thanks

Hi Mouse...my only thought is simply the fact that as we get older our metabolisms slow down. I have no idea how much of an impact it has though. Speaking of metabolism, it will be higher with exercise. Did you exercise more back then?

I guess if I thought back on it I might have done more cardio. I'll add more of that in with my weight training and see if that helps. Thanks

Hi Mouse! I turned 40 this year, and I'm getting back on the Atkins bus--I lost 50 pounds a few years ago on this plan and I wish I would have stuck with the lifestyle....But, here's to second chances!! I'm starting next week, but I'm getting the exercise down in the meantime. I think it's going to be more important, as SaskNewfie also mentioned.

I'm also going to eat cleaner this time around--none of the shakes or bars. Good luck to ya!
