Question Do you use the Lose It! app?!

Hi everyone, so my boyfriend and I have been using the Lose It calorie counting app for a very long time and we love it. We are friends on the app and it is fun to be able to see his progress and his information for the day, it really motivates me. So I was wondering if anyone else uses this app and if they would be interested in friending me on it to help with my motivation?

I use it and I love it. It really keeps me accountable. I don't track my workouts in it though. I find their calories estimates to be high.

I'd love some "friends" on Lose it too!

This is so awesome! I've entered all my food & exercise in and I still have 800 calories to eat for dinner & snack. Of course I don't have to actually eat that much but it's cool to see I am within my calorie allowance.

I also use it and love it as well, so much easier than trying to remember to write everything down by the end of the day. I can just log as I go because it's always with me.

I would be more than willing to be friends with people on it too, i don't have any but it would give me an extra bit of motivation that would be nice PM me your username or ask and I'll send mine.

I use the lose it! app as well. Keeps me from getting deluded about what I'm eating.

I am NOT losing at the rate is says I should be though (and I'm staying within my calorie range, by and large). Not by a long shot. Anyone else having that problem?

I don't lose at the rate of the app either, probably mostly my fault because I guess work sometimes. I have had better weeks than the app says and worse ones but when I really am on it it's pretty accurate.

It's still hard for me to admit to eating an extra cookie or something but by not entering it I'm only hurting me. I've been working on my accuracy and truthfulness though

tinneranne,
How many calories does it have you at per day? I put in that I wanted to lose 40 lbs @ 1.5 per week and it put me at 1,900 calories!? I couldnt believe that and I thought that was insanely high. I didn't think I would lose any weight eating that much. So I subtracted 200 from it and put myself at 1,700. I am losing it at a good rate now, but never actually tried at the 1,900 so I dont know. Maybe it has your calorie count too high?

I have lost 1 1/2 per week consistantly since starting this app about a month ago. It works and has really helped me with portion control and wine portion control (haha)
