Anyone try doing Tabata? It's like interval training on crack, lol. I was short on time this morning and didn't want to skip a workout so I did Tabata. I only did it with one exercise because it was my first time. I choose squats to do and was able to complete the four minutes but the last minute was killer! The whole workout from start to finish took less than fifteen minutes with warm-up and cool down included instead of my usual 30 minutes. I'm sold as to effectiveness as a 'quickie' workout. Although it might be awhile before I could do four minutes with multiple exercises. My quads are sore as heck like I'd been sprinting - that's how intense the four minutes were.
I also found this Tabata timer online; I set it up on my laptop and it did the counting for me. Here's the link:
