Default Recipe Help - Healthy Burgers

I have a healthy burger recipe I've used for years.
Basically, 1 lb ground beef and then I shred 1 full zucchini. Herbs, spices, and I am ready to grill.
On IP, I eat the burger using an iceberg lettuce bun. I add a thin slice of tomato, spicy mustard, and some onion.

I am curiouis if anyone has made something similar. What I am looking for is more ideas on what to put in the burger.
Do you shred any more veggies, do you use any marinades, egg whites, etc?

I am just trying to mix it up a bit. Also, if I can make it more veggie and less meat, I might be able to have seconds.

I use bison meat OR ground white turkey meat.

With the bison, I flavor it with salt, pepper and rosemary. It's great.

For the turkey, you can make it with a good portion of chopped mint, chopped parsely, fresh lemon, cumin, salt and pepper....if you like a kick add in some hot sauce and grill.

I make make burgers out of the leanest ground beef I can find. I frequently add the hidden valley spicy ranch or onion ranch mixes to the beef with chopped up bell or jalpeno peppers. Then throw them on the grill and they are great.

I've also done the same with Turkey burgers.

I usually throw and egg in when I'm mixing the contents up to help everything stick together.

Try adding some chopped up mushrooms in the burgers - it's a great filler and adds flavor to it.
