100 Days Until Thanksgiving Week
Evening everyone.
I made a post on my blog that I thought I would share with everyone - Hope you enjoy!
Want to stay motivated? I have just the thing.
We can all be a little vain, or at least most of us — but lets not call it being vain — lets call it “presenting ourselves to our friends and family confidently”. We want to show others that we are doing just fine.
Personally I find nothing more embarrassing than having a spare tire when I see friends or family. I will go so far as to almost avoid seeing them altogether. It can be even more frustrating when they seem to have it together while you do not.
So its officially 100 days until the start of thanksgiving week (Until the Monday of that week).
So if you want to lose 10lbs by thanksgiving, you have to have a 350 calorie deficit per day.
Lets break it down more in fact
1lb – 35 calories
2lbs – 70 calories
3lbs – 105 calories
4lbs – 140 calories
5 lbs – 175 calories
6 lbs – 210 calories
7 lbs – 245 calories
8 lbs – 280 calories
9 lbs – 315 calories
10lbs – 350 calories
…
15lbs – 525 calories
20lbs – 700 calories
But lets reverse this chart. If you EAT over that much you will GAIN IT! Shoot for something realistic of course.
Myself? I’m shooting for over a 500 calorie deficit which will put me -15lbs plus I’ll lose water-weight and my system will empty, which will probably be another 5-10 — So I’m looking to lose 15-25lbs by thanksgiving.
Follow me to find out if I can do it.
I know this seems like a lot of calories per day to get these results — but — Thanksgiving isn’t *THAT* far away. If you are trying and struggling, just shoot for a small goal — shoot for 200 calories a day (roughly -6lbs by thanksgiving) — Trust me, Your confident will be +500% even just coming into thanksgiving -6lbs. Also you will empty out a bit so it might show up more like around 10lbs. Also remember that although 3500 calories = 1lb, its not a perfect science.
Hope this helps/scared you.
Just remember this chart, every 35 calories = 1 lb by thanksgiving.
