Smile Thigh bloat - after exercising or during TOM ?

I noticed that and I find it annoying And I'm just wondering if it's normal, what cause it and does it happen to you too ?

I'm explaining: directly after an exercise that involved legs (walking, running, swimming), I feel my thigh way bigger after. I know
it because usually, they don't rub while I'm walking normally, but after doing some sport they awkwardly slap against each other at the top.

It also happen during TOM, at the same time as my belly bloat.

So. Someone has an explaination ?
Thanks for answering!

My guess is water retention or inflamation of the muscle that was used. It happens to me too, more so when I lift weights, but goes away shortly.

As far as TOM goes, many people retain water during that time- that probably happens to be where you carry it.

It would be interesting if you measured your thighs before and after exercise next time, to see if it's an illusion or if there is a significant growth.

I kind of feel that way too. After a couple days of good workouts, you would think my pants fit better. Well, my thighs are actually bigger. I just say that the muscles are getting tighter/larger. So it's okay. I'd rather have bigger muscle, than bigger fat..haha. At least I hope it's muscle.

I can retain water just because I'm exercising? I'm drinking plenty of water, I though this would avoid it.
Next time I'm gonna measure!

It's annoying during TOM, if only I retain in only one place haha.

Thanks for the answer!
