ok this past weekend we rented one of those gigantic inflatable 20 ft. tall 50. ft long waterslides and boy was that the funnest time i've had in a long time! I had to of played on that thing for 7 hours total! lol and when i woke up monday morning there was not a muscle in my body that didn't hurt. even my butt was killing me and truth be told i was having so much fun i didn't even realize i was working out. If i could afford to have one for an entire month i'm sure i would lose 20 pounds that month lol. so i was wondering what other kind of fun stuff everybody does that you dont even realize is a work out?
A few friends and I went to the Jersey Shore (the nice part, without a bunch of d-bags...) and swam in the ocean for a good 8 hours or so. I hurt for days after! Also, Dance Central on XBox is really awesome, too.
trampoline. totally trampoline! i take my little cousins out there and we'll jump for easily half an hour. granted, we're not jumping the whole time (duck, duck, goose and popcorn include a lot of sitting hehe) but the next day, holy cannoli i'm sore!
Dancing Polka - which I will be doing at a wedding this weekend. Excellent cardio and so much fun. Also bike riding. In the summer I want to be on my bike every day.
I love Zumba! You are laughing the whole time, and the moves are fun and the songs are great. They say you can burn as much as 1000 calories per hour! You definitely sweat!
My favorite is yoga! Low-impact (at least for most beginner/intermediate classes), soft music, a focus on relaxation and calmness, etc. Before you know it, you've finished an hour-long class and the next day, you really feel it. <3 yoga. Wish yoga studios were cheaper though. I'm just roughing it at home until my school gym membership (with free classes) kicks in in August.
Other fun activities that don't feel like workouts: going out dancing w/your friends (though beware alcohol calories), hiking, walking around exploring a new city, intense cleaning/gardening, basically anything where you're enjoying yourself so much you forget that your muscles are involved!
Cleaning! I have been procrastinating cleaning for a very, very long time and I finally decided to tackle some today. I've only done half the kitchen but man... combined with the heat, all the scrubbing and kneeling and washing gave me a quite the sweat and workout. I also gave my dog an outside bath this afternoon and that was a chore itself. I have A LOT of the house left to do but if I get it all done - I gotta lose like 10lbs from it all!

I second the ocean. After a day at the beach I wake up sore as heck.
Once in college after a snow storm we all went out and played "snow football." We tackled but weren't trying to hurt each other. I got so into the game I didn't realize how much I was moving. It lasted an hour, maybe 2. I could barely move the next day and ached for a week.
The two things I love are racquetball and lasertag..
Racquetball is pretty obvious, but lasertag depends how you play. The first time I went for a 4-hr session with friends and I was up/down kneeling the entire time to stay behind cover and shoot. The next day and for an entire week afterward my leg muscles hurt so much I could barely walk. I had to take stairs one at a time and kind of go at them sideways. I couldn't sit down normally - I had to kind of bend at the waist and then fall back into the chair.
That is the most pain I have ever been in without actually being "injured" lol. It almost made me want to stop playing lasertag!
