Talking What are your latest (scale and non-scale) victories?

Hey everyone!

This is my first official post of my own, woo! I just wanted to share how exciting my day has been so far and see what you guys are proud of accomplishing lately, whether related to your fitness goals or in other parts of your life!

So today was my weigh-in day, and I stepped on the scale only to realize I'd surpassed the 15lb weight loss mark! (I wish I could get a ticker, but alas, I'm still too new!) After that great news, I went for my usual run.. and managed to go 1.5K without stopping! I know there are people on these boards that can run 5K no sweat, but.. I'm not exactly there yet. This has been a great start to my day!

So, now I'm interested to hear how you have been doing! Brag about YOUR latest victory!

Welcome, pinksparkles! You are KILLING it! Great work!

I recently fit into the tiniest, sexiest pair of jeans I own and I am just so excited to wear them (and a new pair of pumps) on a hot date with my boyfriend this Saturday! His jaw is going to drop!

Pink-I LOVE this idea! Yay a for you on the run, it's so hard to run even when you are in good shape, it takes a lot of will power to keep pushing! Wow I'm so impressed by your 15 lb loss, I can't wait to get to that point!

So my latest victory is that I comp, eyed the entire first month of Insanity and I only missed one day of the workout the whole month and on that day I did a 3.5 mile run on a beach trail instead! I'm so proud that I did it and lost about 8 lbs this month! Infant wait for month 2 since people say that's when they REALLY start to lean out! Woohoo bring on the torture lol! Keep workin ladies and brag about how fabulous and hard core you are!

I'm 2lbs away from being overweight, I can't wait!!!

My daughter likes to fall asleep laying on my stomach but she can't get comfortable anymore because she either getting poked by my ribs or hip bones.

My hands are soooo cold now that they're a lot thinner.

I fit into my smallest pair of jeans. They are still tight but I can wear them with a shirt that's a bit loose around the waist. I still have a few skirts that I have yet to fit into (they're from a time when I was skinner than any of the pants i have), hopefully soon!

Way to go!! That's awesome!!

The biggest victory for me totally doesn't count! I stepped on the scale and it read 187.5 lbs.. I was in disbelief, seeing as there was no way I could go from 193 to 187 overnight.. Sure enough, I stepped on it again.. it was 192.5. There's nothing like a scale victory turned trickery to keep me grounded

Biggest nsvs have been fitting into clothes that I have never fit into, even from the day of purchase lol
One pair of 3/4 length trousers I bought while on sale, I loved them so much that even though they didn't fit I bought and kept them. I tried them on every now and again dreaming of how good they would look when they fit...The day I fit into them I realised they were sooo not for me (baggy in all the wrong places) and gave them to charity. I had to laugh at that. I kept those shorts for or over 2 years but I guess the satisfaction of fitting into them was enough.

I can finally run on the treadmill for more than 1 minute. LOL I was never a distance person, even younger and super fit. I've worked up to running 1.5 miles without stopping.

And my non-scale victory was noticing my favorite pajama pants, which were getting way too tight this winter, now make my thighs look lost in there. LOL

Great job, everyone!

Welcome pinksparkles! Congrats on achieving your SV & NSV

Recent SV: Stepping on the scale after spending a week at my parents' house (who do not subscribe to my healthy food outlook) and discovering I'd lost 2.6 lbs.

Recent NSV: Buying new suits for work and fitting into a size 4 blazer (even the 2 *almost* fits) & size 6 skirt

I pooed and lost 3 lbs of poo/water weight. Now 3 more lbs to go and I can go back to my weight last week!
(so lame but I'm relieved...6 lbs up and I was devastated)

Great Victories Ladies!

My recent NSV was this weekend when I was wearing workout wear (yoga capris and a fitted racerback top) and my husband stopped what he was doing and said, "Are you wearing Spanx under that?!" We were at his parents house and his monther looked at him with shock and disbelief... I just smiled and said, "Nope."

That is the best compliment I could have gotten. Expecially because I can't even fit into my Spanx.

YESSS I'm a sausage in my Spanx!! I quit wearing them like 20 lbs ago because I don't want to tear them! Its kinda funny to lose weight to fit into shapewear, but its a goal of mine lol

Woohoo!!!! Way to go ladies

Let's see, as for scale victories, I'm pretty sure I'll be into the 160s at my next weigh-in, which will be a beautiful, beautiful thing! I feel like my body loves being in the 170s, and clings as hard as it can to that stupid decade. I hope to never see it again!!

As for NSV, aside from completing level 1 of the 30DS, and believe me I am super proud of that one, I think my go-to bra of the summer is getting too small. And although some of you guys might be horrified by that, I am stoked. I want the girls to shrink!
