Default Bridge to 10k - Anyone doing it?

I'm going to start next week or the week after depending on when we get back from our camping trip and which day the long run is on in the schedule. I usually have a longer run on Sunday and I would like to keep it that way. I haven't had a chance to look at the schedule yet, is anyone else doing this?

Hi Aunty,

I am starting W7 of C25k today. I want to bridge to 10k when I am done!! I am not sure if it will be in 3 weeks already though. I might have to repeat a week or so...

Anyways, I thought I post here so I get the updates and I will join as soon as I am ready!

Good stuff Josey. Absolutely repeat weeks if you don't feel you're ready. It is very important to move ahead at your own pace, I repeated a few weeks but can't remember which. I know I'm not going to do B210K in the weeks it gives, I've lost to much between C25k and now I think. We'll see.

It would seem no one else is doing it

Is there a website for B210k like there is for C25K? I'm at work or I'd google it (silly firewalls, absolutely no sports).

I'll have to work my way up to 20k by April for Tough Mudder.

I just started B210K today! Woohoo, W1D1 done! It was actually super easy. Probably easier than running 30 min. straight. Still wondering how I do it. I have never been a runner and I am thinking somehow I gotta be cheating the system. How else can I run like that? lol

@Rowan - check this page: http://www.active.com/running/10K/
I use the iPhone app Bridge to 10k: http://www.bluefinapps.com/#ourapps

Good job Josey! I would love to try the B210K but that will probably be a long time from now being that I just started C25K.

Thanks! No worries, you will get there. I never thought I could get to W5 of C25K. Now I am bridging to 10k. Insane!

YAAAY! I found what I was looking for! I did Couch to 5k before, and had a beautiful time with it, but went home from college, stopped running, and GAINED IT ALL BACK plus 30 pounds. lol. wow.

so this is my official do-over.
I'm not even giving myself a rest week or anything.

I'm on c25k week 7 now, so I'll let you guys know when I bridge, and keep updated on those runs.

can't wait!

I think I want to do it. I finished C25K in August last year and have kind of just repeated the last three weeks of the programme over and over for more than a year, trying to work on my speed. It might be time to work on endurance and learn to run for longer. So yeah I think I'm down. And I could potentially start next week.
