Kidding, but I have not lost anything in over a week. I measure or weigh everything I consume and my calories per day average is 1300. I am working out daily and I am rarely sedentary.
Why won't the ding dang thing budge? I know there are several maintainers here, could one of you point me in the right direction?
How long have you been at the 1300 calories a day? Or should I say, have you been doing the same regiment for the first 10 pounds you lost and if so how long have you been at it? (Like, is this week 3 and you lost 10 pounds the first 2 weeks?)
In my experience, when I was weighing in frequently, I would notice that I would lose every other week or so. Basically I was the same weight for 2 wks, then would drop 4-5lbs at once, almost overnight. I was averaging 2-2.5lbs a week but for some reason, my body didn't reflect it every single week.
3 weeks with calories fluctuating slightly from a high of 1500+ to a low of under 1200 with the typical day being in between. I'm not very good at keeping them static day to day.
I have been increasing intensity on a weekly basis and trying to get varied types of exercise (walking, running, swimming, just added biking) and I rotate my strength training (started week 2) with my body divided into thirds (lower, core, upper)
I have been told to increase calories a couple of times now but that seems so wrong, how do I lose if I eat more? And it doesn't seem to be working for me.
My loss was the first 10 days where I lost a pound a day when I kept my calories under 1200 per day (I was probably releasing a great deal of water) and it was suggested I up my calories and since then? Not a bit of weight loss. Although my stamina and strength have improved during the no loss time frame so I was trying to keep positive.
I need that scale to move. According to the calculators I should be on track to lose 2lbs per week. I am getting frustrated.
But you have! Your average weight loss in 3 weeks is 3.3 pounds a week. Those calculators don't know what day you are going to lose it, just that it should come off within a certain time frame...and it has. If you hadn't weighted until now, you wouldn't have noticed that it all came off the first 2 weeks...
Your body will start to lose again, it's just reorganizing everything. In a few more days this last couple of days without a loss will be a distant memory. Most people report their weight drops in sperts. Mine did. Just told on a couple of days and I bet you will enjoy another whoosh....
h82sweat - I have recently been going through the same fustration. Not only do I cc but I also use bodymediafit, and my calorie deficit has almost always been spot on for my weightloss over a week. Then I bounced up and never got the woosh I have come to expect after a bounce. I waited 7 days and then today I was finally down .2lbs and I felt like throwing a party. :0) I am hoping to see more weightloss tomorow.
Just hold on and I am sure the weight will start coming off again soon.

Reason: typo
I'll keep my fingers crossed for a woosh then! I need a little pick me up. I was so cranky today because I feel like I am not progressing and with it being summer it is a serious bummer to pass on some of the foods I used to enjoy. As much as I love healthy foods, I also have a liking for some things that aren't 100% good for me
But I stayed strong today, which is a little victory in itself, right? Even though I was questioning if this is all worth it since I haven't seen a drop lately, I stuck to plan. Didn't even take a piece of the free samples of cookies.
Just a small vent here... the marketing genius who put the bakery next to the deli counter at Kroger should be hunted down and force fed cupcakes and cookies until he bloats like a whale.
I feel the same frustrations with the weigh-ins and am glad you posted about it. I get fed up and think, oh this isn't working I didn't lose let's try something else...But these posts have encouraged me to stick with the counting and my body will catch up with the losing. Thanks again
I lost my first 5 lbs on 1200 calories and then plateaued for about 3 weeks. I upped my exercise, nothin. I upped my calories by 200 and kept my exercise up (basically eating back all my exercise calories) and started losing again.
