Thumbs down Ouch!!

My breasts have been tender for the past three days, I can barely keep my bra on!!!
I've read somewhere on the forum that breast tenderness is a sign of water retention. I'm trying to figure out why is this happening all of a sudden.
My period is still almost 2 weeks away. I didn't change my diet so it can't be that however I did change my exercise. I've started a new routine last week, and when I stepped on the scales on Sunday I was about 2 lbs up.

can't figure out what's going on, help??!!

My first question would be is there any chance you are preggo?
If that is totally out of the question it might be that your period is going to come a little early, sometimes when we make big changes to our diets and exercise schedules it throws our cycle off.
If it gets worse or does not go away in a day or two I would see your doctor.

Is it possible you're ovulating? Sometimes (randomly) I get breast tenderness when I'm ovulating.

The same thing happens to me. I didn't know what it was because I don't think I've ovulated in a very long time. But it feels like you're getting a period, but it's the ovulation.

Thank you ladies - I'm glad I'm not the only one with this issue. I'm expecting my period some time next week. Will see if the pain goes away after that.
