Default NSV in the fitting room today!


I just got sick of my shorts. All I had were mostly knit shorts that I purposely bought to fit loose. Which was great when the most activity I got was walking from the kitchen to the couch. But, now those loose fitting shorts just started getting on my nerves. I went to get some better fitting shorts. I grabbed a few 16W and some regular 16s(I had been wearing 16/18). Even the regular 16s were too big. I took a deep breath and went out and got some 14s. For some reason I was terrified to try them on. It has been years since I was able to zip anything up that had 14 in the tag. I slowly put them on, ready for rejection, and they fit. They fit comfortably!! I got a bit teary eyed.

A couple of times, I grabbed for 16s again. I had to remind myself that I needed the next size down. I just bought a few shorts to get my by and some size LARGE shirts. I'm looking forward to needing to do this again.
