Default Sonoma/Mediterranean weekly thread - 23-29 May

Jumping back in as I need to be accountable the next month or so.. through partying and friends over to visit Malta in the past few weeks I've put on a few lbs.. nothing catastrophic thank god as I've been keeping up with exercise and staying active but I would guess at a 4/5lb gain. This morning my weight was 10st 12.5 lbs, it had been approx 10st 7/8. So now I weigh 152 and want to get to about 145/146. Anyhow the real work starts tomorrow but I'll post today's anyway to get me started. Anyone feel free to join of course

Sarah

I will join you ... I am coming off a meal delivery program and between my birthday and upcoming memorial day vacation, it is not looking pretty. Down about 23 pounds and then gained back 4.

Starting the Sonoma plan later this week during camping this weekend, oh my.
Too much wine is usually my issue. Got a few of the meals left and have been printing up meal plan to cook. Don't want to back slide anymore

Default Wine Lovers Diet?

I am brand new to this site and looking to lose 15-20 lbs. I am 5'6-1/2 and weighed this morning 165 lbs. I don't have a huge appetite but tend to overeat if I let myself get hungry. I am hampered by the fact that strenuous exercise is actually not good for me as I had infantile paralysis - aka polio. Aerobic swimming and stationary bike are good. I would like to lose 15 pounds in one month with the only caveat PLEASE let me have 2 glasses of wine a day. Just a long established habit since I lived for years in Europe and South America. I love to drink water and non fat milk (latter I can give up if necessary). Can easily give up sweets - I like apples, oranges grapes other citrus. Fish is good; any other wine lovers out there who can help structure something?

Sarah! Hi

WOW good job on loosing all the weight You look awesome!

Im back for a cople weeks I think. I gain 7-8 lbs past few months which I would liek to loose.

I am also starting a business in July (bakery) and wont have time to exercise as much so I will have to keep the food in perfect check.

We will see how it goes. I started ot be careful yesterday and today but I am planning on following Sonoma on monday if I dont see anything move by monday.

im excited! I can do this

Today:
B:2 toast with PB
Snack: 1 fiber one bar... kinda cheating but I should be okay
L: 1 egg with a brocoli salad
Snack: 1 cup of greek yogurt with honey and blueberries
D: Probably a pita or a small sub with chicken cheese and some salsa

Exercise: 45 minutes of interval trianing.

Meghan Sue, I'm also hoping to lose weight (50-60 lb) without giving up my wine with dinner habit. I am trying to stick to 1 glass on weeknights, but really its usually 2...! Would also love any advice from those who have managed to lose weight while still drinking wine.
