Default how long does it take you to go down a dress/pant size?

I started IP march 20th at a size 18-20.
8 weeks later I am in a 14-16 (14 is still tight)

just wondering when I might be size 12, then 10...etc.

Is it just me?.... It seems that when you are plus size you can lose a ton of weight and still stay at the same size, but for smaller women they can lose 10lbs and go down a size.

That's why I would love to read about how fast others have gone down in size.

I've been a pretty slow loser thru this journey, my coach says
it's because I'm naturally small (short & small boned) and I
didn't have a whole lot to lose. I drop from a 10 to a 4 (probably
a 2 now, but I refuse to buy size 2's) since mid Febuary.

Hang in there and be patient, it will work! I promise... it is sooo worth it!

I went from a comfortable 18 to a comfortable 14 in 2 of the jeans in that size I have but one pair, silvers, are too small still.ive lost 28lbs. I was hoping I'd be in smaller pants bt now but hopefully the next 30 will make a big difference.

I was a size 16 last Thanksgiving day. By my birthday in January they were loose but wearable. I bought a size 15 but a month later couldn't wear them without falling down. Last month, I put on my favorite pair of jeans to discover they were loose too - it started out slow but then picked up really quick and all of a sudden I have no pants that fit!

Went shopping earlier today and discovered I fit into size 10s and 12s. So, six months and 25 pounds to go down two or three sizes.

I lost 60 pounds and went from an 18 to a 14. I didn't drop sizes quickly at all.

I started at 242 in a tight 18. I'm in a loose 12 at 183 so I guess go I down sizes pretty quickly. Hoping I'm a size 8 at 165-170.

I'm 5'9". I started at 288lb wearing 20-22. At 220lb, I'm now wearing mostly 16. I lost a size with every 20-25lb.

S/C/G: size 18 to 8...75 pounds gone

Height: 5'6"

Default

I started on September 13th at 246 in a loose 18 and baggy 1X or XXL shirts and 44DDD tops.

I lost 30 pounds the first 6 weeks and was in a size 16

By Thanksgiving I bought my first 14 pants and regular XL shirt ...I was down 42 pounds

By Christmas I was down 52 pounds and wearing a size 12 and large shirt

By mid-January I was around 188 pounds and starting wearing size 10.

I have been wearing size 10 since, but I have been exercising like crazy and have only lost 20 more pounds. I started wearing size 8 jeans by the end of February.

I am currently 170 (hopefully 169 today) and I am a size 8 in all stores and designers. I wear a size 36C bra and a medium shirt and some smalls.

Rather than number of pounds....I think it is percent of what you have to lose...I think it is about 10% moves you a pound or so.

I usually drop a size after a 15 pound loss. This will vary by the individual, though.

Took me thirty pounds till I changed pant size from a 20 to an 18. Then it seems to go faster. I am wearing at 16 but this weekend bought 14 and they fit perfect. I think on this diet the fat comes from all over. There is this tv show called DANCE YOUR *** OFF, and some are the same weight as me but wow they look so chunky. On ip for some reason our bodies seem more sculpted. I have collar bones for a while now. and skinny shoulders, and front of chest is normal looking. I guess ip takes off fat all over, so for me slower to change sizes on the bottom, faster on the top part though. Guess it depends on where we have the most to lose.

I'm pretty tall, and it takes me a long time to go down a size. I'm down almost 40 pounds, and I went from a tight 18 to a comfortable 16. On the one hand, it's good because I haven't had to spend a fortune on new clothes yet. But on the other hand, I'm impatient to fit into the 14s and 12s I have in boxes in my closet.

I've lost about 15 lbs and moved from a tight 8/loose 10 to a comfortable 6.

I feel like Im not losing any weight either..or going down sizes!
I started IP 4/15/11 at 235lbs was in a size 22??(I wear yoga pants because I am uncomfortable in jeans--they fit me odd), as of Friday I am 216.6lbs and I did try on a pair of my old 20's and they fit. (still uncomfy in jeans -- I think Im too used to yoga pants! LOL )
My coach says every 10 pounds is a pants size...but I don't think so... Its probably more like 15-20pounds...

I really think it is more like 10 percent of your body weight. But it really took 30 pounds or more for me to switch from my size 18's to my size 16. The sizes go faster after that. I only had time to buy one pair of 14's and one pair of 12's and I was in a 10.
