Post Temptation stinks

Here it is, the first official day of my new healthier lifestyle. I clocked out for lunch, and what do you think met me when I walked through the door? A giant cake with chocolate icing!! How unfair is that!!

It sat there on the table in front of me the entire time I was eating my turkey breast and carrots. BUT, I didn't give in. I won't lie, I wavered a bit. It was really hard not to say, oh well. I'll just start tomorrow.

Now I know it's in there. So, I just have to make it through the rest of the day without giving in.

It's funny, just writing this post has made me realize that I am really proud of myself. THAT is a much better feeling than the cake could ever have given me. So, Yay me

Good for you. It will get easier when your new lifestyle becomes a habit.

You should be proud- that is so hard to pass up especially on your first day! Keep digging and if you ever do cave- only take maybe a spoon full and then take tiny bites from that so it makes you kinda feel like you had a whole piece.

Good job... I try n think I'll eat the eat and then what, most of the times it wasn't worth the calories or the feelings that come after eating...
However, I can't resist all the time but that's my two cents
