I did a little exerimenting with my body and the scale, and I thought this might help someone here!
As most of us know,
WATER WEIGHT comes & goes fairly quickly. Sometimes we think we've lost (fat) weight when really it's just water weight, but who doesn't like to see the scale go down?
And sometimes we think we've GAINED (fat) weight when in fact it's just water weight - and if we can remember that, then maybe we won't get disappointed, disillusioned or plain-out pi$$ed off when the scale goes up a bit!
So - I weigh myself every day - first thing in the morning, after potty time, and completely nekkid!
- (who cares how much my clothes weigh, anyhow????) and I take THAT NUMBER to be my "True Weight".
So here's what the experiment showed:
Yesterday, I weighed - scale read 172.4
- after a day's worth of regular intake of food & exercise....
scale read 175.8
This morning, weighed BEFORE potty...(part of the experiment!) scale read 173.8
AFTER potty? .......... 171.4
AFTER breakfast!!!! ..... 171.8
SO THERE. To me, that proves that water weight is VERY
fluctuable (I know that ain't a word, but it is now!) and what you eat (esp. sodium intake!) can really FLUB the reading!
I just thought this little experiment might help someone here look past/get over that one or two little pounds that seem to plague us so!!
HAVE A GOOD DAY EVERYONE!!!
