Question New Year Resolutions

OK! I know we all make them and break them, but here are mine:
  • To stick with the weight loss plan, come **** or high water
  • To actually participate in the weekly weigh in thread, even when the numbers register the wrong way
  • To go to the gym at least 3 times per week
  • To learn to swim
  • To improve my inlining by the summer
  • To fit into my LBD by Christmas 2003
  • To not to sweat over the small stuff
  • To be happier
  • To post more regularly

What are yours?

OK here are a couple of mine - more will no doubt come to me over the next few days

1 - To lose weight

2 - To stop biting my nails - I did it once for about a year and then one day just starting chewing them again

3 - To find a better job linked to the skills I gained this year whilst seconded into a project team.

1. To lose this weight, but not to go into complete meltdown if there isn't a loss sometimes.
2. To get home to England for my Mum's 70th birthday in August.
3. To be a nicer person, everyone thinks I am so lovely, but deep down I know I could be nicer to this world and the people in it.

Mine are as follows:
1. Stick to the diet and lode as much weight as possible by next christmas.
2. Get back to my exercise regime.
3. To not give 2 hoots about what others think of me.
4. Get my life back on track.

OK here are some more

4. I am going to clear all the clutter out of my house. There is far too much and all I usually do is move stuff around from one room to another. This year it gets chucked out.

5. To make time for myself everyday. Even if it is just 10 minutes, scraping the hard skin from my feet, whilst watching Eastenders (sorry too much information)

6. To make more of myself, look after myself better. Take more interest in what I wear and how I look. hair, skin, shoes the full works.

7. To exercise, whether that be walking, swimming, aerobics or whatever. I need to move this butt more than I do

Think that is enough, for this year anyway. Will no doubt come up with a few 'challenges' as the year goes on

1. I'm jumping in at the deep end by saying that i intend to lose 40lbs by July 2003!!

2. To restrict chocolate to one bar at the weekend..if any

3. To cut back on the bottles of beer that i've started drinking while nestling down in front of the tv at night.

Default been a while since I last visited.......

here are the ones I'm aiming for now:

1. To go back to WW and lose the weight I've put back on this year (and hopefully lose more)

2. To finish my HNC and get my piccie taken with hat & gown (always wanted one of those piccies to display on my dining room unit !!)

3. Once I've finished my HNC, to learn to play the electronic keyboard (which we bought for my daughter and which is now collecting dust in the attic)

4. To join our local reading circle and walk to the monthly meetings when the nights get lighter

5. To do housework as I'm going along instead of waiting for the weekend to come and going **** for leather

......knowing me, I'm sure there'll be more

Good to know you're all ok; may I wish you and your families the very best for 2003

I am not making any resolutions as such this year cos in the past they have been too much like pie crusts...........too eaasily broken. I am vowing to reach my target of 11-13 this year, it can be done and the only person who can make it happen is me.
