Tried it again last year but had back surgery and was out of commisssion and rehabbing for months. This past February I hit the highest weight of my life from using food to soothe my frustrations. I've decided enough was enough. Time to take care of this health situation NOW.
I started reading this forum again and became inspired by all of you. I've been doing MRC on my own since February 22nd and will join the program officially in May. The majority of my inspiration comes from this board and I am so glad to be back.
Since I've been lurking here for a month, I feel like I know you all a little and I'm proud of all your successes and share your frustrations.
Hope everyone has a wonderful Sunday.
little edie,
yet again.

Welcome back to MRC!
I'm glad that you have been able to draw inspiration from this board! I started the program last fall, and I was frustrated, hungry, and close to quitting the program until I found this board in October sometime.
Talking with people who have found success (and, especially, those who have maintained it!) is motivating because it enabled me to see that it can be done--and it allowed me to visualize how different things would be for me when I met my goal.
Good luck, and welcome!
