Anyone heard of this Amen Soloution? Anyone tried it? Whats it based on?

Dr. Amen is well known in the field of ADHD and came up with a way to do brain scans, that differentiate different types, based upon what part of the brain is underactive or overactive.

He has written numerous books related to the above.

I do know that he has studied the way various substances affect the brain.

That being said I know nothing about his diet other than what I came across in Amazon reviews.

I caught part of his act shown on PBS recently. I did some web research and am still not sure what to think. I don't think he is pure scam but some of his techniques (with ADHD and such) are not really mainstream.

His weight loss stuff (what little I know of it) seems common sense like no refined sugars, sticking to complex carbs, and keeping a food journal. One complaint that I came across is that he pushes his own products (like vitamins and such). On his Amen Clinic website you can see the kinds supplements he sells.
