Talking Happy International Women's Day!!

I don't know if this post belongs here, but as this is one of the most highly trafficked thread I think it part of getting ourselves healthy and happy is taking a moment sometimes to celebrate women who have made a difference in the world and in our lives, and to love ourselves as strong, capable females.

Today I'm thinking of:
My mom, of course. Who showed me what it means to love someone unconditionally.

Womens rights activists throughout the years who have allowed me to say what I think, to seek an education and career that is equal's to mens, and to actively participate in my community and country's government.

Everyone who reminds me daily through public ad campaigns, emails, conversations, magazines, etc to nourish my body and love my womanly shape.

Of course, the wonderful women (AND MEN!) of 3FC who every day inspire, motivate, and support me and others to feel my best.

Sorry for all the cheese (hey, better written than eaten, right?0, but I'd love to celebrate with you all the incredibly accomplishments of ourselves and each other as females today.

Who are you thinking of and celebrating today? It can be yourself, family, a celebrity, community or world leader, friend, or fellow 3FC!

I am celebrating all the women in my life. I just came back from a trip with my girlfriends and we had a great time and I love this group of friends very much. I see part of myself in each of them and I like the friendship that we have developed.

Of course, all my female family members who have loved me, taken care of me, opened up doors for me, modeled careers and choices for me that to this day affect the choices that I make and decisions that I take.

Last, but not least, all the women who have come before me who have worked to make this a better place for all women and given me the rights and privileges that I currently enjoy!!!
