Default Losing inches! But not where I want them to! haha

This is kinda funny but so true. Ive noticed that im losing inches based on how my clothes fit. Now i guess i would be considered pear shaped since i hold most of my weight in my hips and butt area. Ive never been a "top heavy" girl which has ALWAYS made shopping difficult.

Throughout the weeks ive noticed that my shirts in the chest area is starting to get baggy! I guess i was hoping that i would start losing more inches around the hips and thigh areas lol. I absolutely HATE how my shirts fit now and i really dont need my chest to get any smaller! Are there any ladies out there who's experiencing this?!?!?!

I seem to be losing a lot from my hips, but not my waist! (yet) so my pants are baggy below the waist, and the same at the button level.

I've also lost a bra size in a month (which hubby does not like)

I hate to say this but you could easily lose one or two cup sizes. After my first twenty five pounds i lost a cup size. Thankfully the weight started to come other areas after that. If you are indeed a pear shape then expect the chest and waist to shrink quite a bit in the next few months.

Im def pair shape but I love it. I love my curves and when I was last measured in Oct I had lost the most inches off my waist. I think that the next 20-30lbs will make the difference though I think my hips will begin to shrink a lil more

A good thing to remember is the LAST place you gain weight, is the FIRST place you will lose it. It's where your body doesn't want to store fat, that is why it waited so long to put any there.

Probably you have less fat cells there genetically or something.

I once knew a girl that didn't like to get under 200 lbs because she lost her boobs. She could lose weight pretty easy too, but I have know her to deliberately gain weight in order to go up a bra size.

I always figured it would be easier to buy a boob job myself, but that's just me.

My thing is my hips, they are HOOOYGE, and I want them to shrink. They prefer to stick around however.

Hahah join the club - I'm totally pear-shaped. My waist is 30 inches and my hips are 44.5 inches. Oh and my legs, or tree trunks as I prefer to call them, let's not even go there. I just hope and pray that the the remaining 35 lbs mainly come off my hips/legs. I can but hope...

I was just posting in another thread about something like this. I really want the fat to disappear off of my arms, thighs and stomach...but instead it's choosing my waist and face. I can't wait until my arms start shrinking. I'm really worried about loose skin though. I probably carry a good 50lb in my arms alone!

Yep. First time I noticed I was losing weight, it was because a bra that had been previously too small suddenly fit. *Sigh* As long as I start to lose weight in other areas soon, it's okay

Eurydice, you reminded me of this ADORABLE black and turquoise lace bra that was given to me by someone else and I don't think it's ever fit. I put it on about 20lbs ago and it was too tight to wear but I could get it on...I need to try it again, maybe it fits! I'd love to be able to wear it.

I agree with all of you. I'm losing in bra and thighs but my waist is only slightly
shrinking. I thought belly fat was the first to go. I'm going to be one of those
middle aged ladies that has a small butt and a big belly. UGGGGGH I've only been doing healthy since 1Jan just have to give it more time and healthy lifestyle
