Default How is everyone doing? Chat?

I like to chat about weight loss and low calorie meals/food. How is everybody doing? Do you have any low calorie secrets?

Mine is making popcorn and sprinkling the dry ranch dressing dip mix over the popcorn. It is SO good and I think the calories are 25 cals for 1 tablespoon which is enough for a whole bag of popcorn.

Anybody else?

That's a great idea, and funny timing since I bought a packet of the dressing by accident! I meant to buy a different one to bread some chicken with and got THAT one. Now I have a use for it Thanks! I'm doing ww and was surprised to find out that the whole bag of 94%ff popcorn is 7 points for me, so I cut back on that! But ...

Yum, that sounds good! I love popcorn and just happened to buy a big box from a girl guide who was going door to door selling them. I haven't had any yet, I've thought about it but am having a hard time veering from my current favourite after dinner snack. I should try to branch out though! I've had the same snack for probably 3 months now....and it's not even very healthy, I eat 6 arrowroot cookies with a big mug of tea. It's my wind-down after the kids are in bed.

It is VERY good but it makes your breath smell bad for a day or 2 LOL It's worth it though :P
I've never heard of arrowroot cookies, I'll have to look for them.

Maybe because I'm in Canada? They're baby cookies. My kids love them, but so do I.

We have "milk arrowroot" cookies or biscuits (tend to call them biscuits down here) in New Zealand. They're such a nice, simple, not-too-sweet cookie - I love them with a cup of tea! I haven't had them in a while though... my after-dinner treat/snack if I'm at my parents house at the moment is good - I make up a small amount of custard from the powder, and cut up one Hershey's Miniature into it - stir it around - chocolatey custard! I think it's about 130 calories from memory...

That popcorn thing sounds good!

This may sound weird but I love dipping fruit in yogurt. Especially bananas dipped in vanilla yogurt. It's very filling too! The popcorn sounds good, but I have to watch my sodium or I blow up w/ water weight.

The popcorn does sound good. Hey, the fruit dipped in yogurt sounds good too. I just wish this weight would come off just a little faster than it is. Looking forward to being able to say I lost it all!

When I want something sweet I make up Bigelow's Gingersnappish tea, mix in some stevia, and a little almond milk, and it tastes just like a frosted gingersnap! Very yummy.

Also the baby cookies are so good haha. The tiny jars of baby custard aren't too bad either, and only about 60 calories a pop.
