Default counting calories!

so i started counting my calories with one of the iphone apps, and just for myself so i know my limit, i read the labels, and i eat 3 times a day and 2 100 or less calorie snacks a day, along with a workout...the meals i eat are healthy (at least i think so, well for example i will have a black bean burger thats 120 cal, with lettuce slice of tomato on a slice of wheat bread, or a baked fish fillet with some salad(with fat free balsamic) etc...is that good???
and i hit usually a little less than 1000 cals, which i think wouldnt be enough, but i dont think i could eat anymore...i feel with these 3 meals 2 snacks like im constantly eating all day long, is that weird? maybe i was just used to having 2 heavy unhealthy meals a day which was way worse, please give me some tips....im really confused now..

I think 1000 is a bit too low. Anywhere between 1500 & 1800 you will still lose weight, and it will be much healthier. You don't want your body to go into starvation mode & hold onto the weight you're trying to lose. Sounds like you're making good food choices, you just need a few more calories to get you dropping weight.

What kind of snacks are you eating? Just purely for bumping up your calories, you could make your snacks a little higher cal but still good for you things - nuts or an extra piece of fruit, maybe a little peanut butter or veges with hummus? I agree that 1000 calories is probably a little low, especially given your current weight.

You could also add some cheese to your sandwich, or avacado to add some extra calories. Nuts as your snack will also bump them up. I know it sounds strange to need MORE calories, but it really will help your weightloss.
