Arrow Low Calorie Snacks Recipes

I am looking for some low calorie snacks to incorporate into my day. I try to eat a few snacks throughout the day (especially before the gym), and am looking for some new ideas.

What I have been eating recently is either a Sweet & Salty Peanut Bar (175 cals) or a Fiber Oats Bar of some sort (140 cals.) and:

Turkey Roll Ups (You can alter this):
4 pieces of lunchmeat turkey
1 serving (2 TBSP) of your favorite ff/lf flavored cream cheese

Spread 1/2 of 1 tablespoon on each turkey piece & roll up! TOTAL CALORIES 146 - This will change depending on the type of turkey or type of cream cheese you use.

I want to add variety into this, and was looking to see what everyone else likes to snack on.

I did recently pick up some frozen fruit & yogurt to mix. Looking forward to this because I need to incorporate some fruit into my diet.

I love the turkey roll-up idea!
My favorite snacks are:
- All-Bran crackers and a wedge of light Laughing Cow cheese
- low-fat cottage cheese and side of fruit (your choice: strawberries, blueberries, a small apple)
- almonds and a piece of fruit
- celery stalks stuffed with a mixture of light cream cheese, chopped olives, chopped red peppers, and seasonings (e.g., garlic salt)
- Chobani brand Greek yogurt
Sorry - I haven't provided calorie counts for these items but in general, my snacks calculate in at 100-250 calories, saving the more calorie-dense snacks for prior to my workouts.

Those are great ideas!

I mentioned to my fiancee that I needed to eat more fruit, and he gave me this idea:

Fruit & Yogurt
1 serving of your favorite frozen fruit (I got a 3 mixed berry blend)
1 serving of your favorite ff yogurt (I got Vanilla)

Add a little sweetner to the fruit to cut back on tartness, mix & enjoy!

TOTAL CALORIES: 220
