Default happy new year!!!

Wow. 2011. what goals or plans do you have for this year? notice i didn't say RESOLUTION - just asking what you'd like to accomplish.

for me, it's starting grad school - FINALLY - for a master's degree in Medical Humanities.

and to get my eating and exercise back on track. i've made some progress, but there's still quite a way to go.

i'd also like to cut back or eliminate the freelance i do - i work all the time and it has to stop!!!!

what's up with you forthis year? tango lessons? singing? a marathon?

Goals? hummmmm get another 3 semesters in college finished, eat enough calories daily. I would like to keep up writing my food down.

I need to get my Diet and exercise back on track, I slipped really bad since thanksgiving.
I want to take in the rest of my dresses and other stuff so I have something different to wear and to make a few new things and buy what I can (which with my income is not much)
Stay on my vitamins and pills and get everything ready for the handfasting

My immediate goal is to work on eating more meat. It is hard for me to get down (just had my surgery 12/14) so I tend to eat things that are easier to get down. But I know meat is so much more rich in protein, and I really could use something else in my diet besides cottage cheese, refried beans, and string cheese!

My 2nd short-term goal is to lose 100 lbs. I've lost 29 lbs since I started my pre-surgery liquid diet 12/4, and my surgeon said I could potentially lose 100 lbs in 3 mos, if I stick to the diet and exercise recommendations. Once I meet my 1st 100 lb goal I am going to buy myself an iPod Touch. I have wanted one for a long time, and my fiance said I should just buy myself one after I had the surgery, as a reward for having the surgery, but I decided to delay my gratification. That's what losing weight is all about, right? Delaying the gratification of eating something tasty for the gratification of being healthy and thin?

My other goals include getting a job, saving for my wedding in May, and saving for plastic surgery once I reach my goal weight. My highest weight was 463 so I know I am going to have some extra skin to be removed once I lose all my weight.
