S/C/G: 185/ maintaining 130-135

Height: 5'4"

Question Ummm, so i think my starting weight might have been more than i thought

I just found this pic at my parent's house over the holiday. I didn't weigh myself till maybe a month after it was taken. This was one of the pics that got my butt in gear. So I was working out eating better for a month before weighing myself and seeing 185. I think I may have been quite a bit heavier here. I know I'm short but still. . . Oh, and yes, I was dying my hair blond back in the day. So, does anyone else think this looks bigger than 185 and 5'4"????

Ah! I don't know how to make this pic smaller; I'm doing this on my phone. My apologies!

First off, I have no idea.. you might have been more. I'm bad with guessing weight, though. I could never do the whole crime-stopper thing, I wouldn't know how tall or how much someone weighed to give a valid description. And second, OMG, don't tattoos on the tops of your feet hurt like a MOFO?! Sigh, mine did.

I've never been good at guessing weight either, it's kinda why I wanted someone else's opinion. I'm going to try to find a pic next time I'm at the 'rents house of what I looked like after I weighed myself. I went about a year without weighing (I didn't own a scale) and it really didn't occur to me that I should buy one till after I started losing weight.

And YES, my foot tattoo hurt like crazzzzzy!!! I'd already had a few tattoos and now have a full back piece, and the foot tattoo was the WORST. I love how it looks, but it was not fun. Even after a couple shots of tequila. . .

That's little hard to answer. I started right after this pic was taken (Sept. 2009). So 15 months? But the first three months I only lost 6 lbs total. Then I started the plan I'm currently on. I also had a boyfriend for 6 of those months and while I still lost 5 lbs while I was with him (soooo happy I didn't gain!) Most of the weight loss was from Jan.-May and late October till the present.

Sorry that's so confusing.

You may have weighed a little more.

I also have a foot tattoo pic of myself when I weighed about 190. Haha. The photos look really similar and I'm only an inch shorter than you. Actually, my arms looked way bigger than yours. But, well, that's just because I'm unlucky.

So my verdict is that it was close to what you say it was. Maybe a little more, but not more than 5 or 10 pounds more.

thanks for the input wednesdaymorning! it's good to hear from someone who had a similar starting weight and height.

also, i've never liked my arms (even now) they always look like stuffed sausages to me. it's part of the reason for the january exercise challenge I'm going to be doing 3 upper body/ arm workouts a week. i want some michelle obama arms!
