Default Lost 2 Pounds Over Christmas!

I love this plan. I have lost 2 pounds since last week, with Christmas. No need to "go off plan" for a day or 2 or 3, I had 43 (instead of my usual 29 + 5) points on Saturday and Sunday, ended the week with 4 WPs left, and 17 APs. No "getting back on track" here. I'm on track and flying towards my destination.

Not once did I feel deprived (ate peanut butter balls and almond butter cookies, brie & bread, wine, sushi along with my oatmeal, shrimp and veggies). But I was still eating far fewer calories than I used to so I lost 2 pounds.

I am trying not to spend too much time thinking "why did I wait so long to do this??" so if you are thinking about joining, get off the fence and do it!

I totally agree! Why go on something so extreme when you don't have to be deprived and still lose weight?? I'm learning that I don't crave something so much when I know I can have it if I want to and then when I do have it I can eat less and be satisfied because I'm not trying to cram it all in so that I can start all over the next day doing better. Eating on plan is great!

Isn't this great?

I really like the new plan. I had some cookies and what not as well, and no worries!

It was walking Christmas Eve, Christmas morning, and the next day, about 50 minutes each time (the best was seeing the other people out early Christmas morning and saying "merry christmas!") and then shoveling snow for an hour and a half on Monday.

Way to go Seagirl! I know what you mean. I lost 1.8 lbs over the week of Christmas and I did not miss out on anything.

I didn't track from Dec 24-27 but tried to eat sensibly, at the very least I was hoping not to gain, turns out I lost 2.2 pounds, crazy but it happened! Now I am back 100% and looking forward to an exciting 2011!
