Default NSV.. while driving

So my family car is a full sized Dodge Ram quad cab truck. Because I'm a housewife and homeschooling mom, who is pretty content at home in our quiet country setting, I rarely go anywhere without hubby. Since my truck is the only vehicle that fits our 4 kids, we take my truck when we go places but he drives. We are the same height but his upper body is longer than mine meaning his legs are shorter. He has to keep the seat up further than I do legwise, but I USED to be able to dive comfortably with the seat at his setting... until my stomach got in the way, so for quite a while now (years) I have had to move the seat back to fit behind the wheel comfortably.

Today I had a meeting to go to, because he hadn't cleaned off my truck I was running late so I jumped in and went without much thought after I got the ice all off. I was almost home when I realized I DIDN'T HAVE TO MOVE THE SEAT!!! There was even some free space there! Now the seatbelt still feels too tight to make me happy but that is sure to come along soon too

Isn't that such a fun feeling! I'm waiting for a gab to appear in my truck...it's super close now, but tummy still touches for now. Congrats and keep up the great work!

I've been noticing lately that the seatbelt no longer chokes me. I always thought it choked me because I was too short. No, it was because I was too fat. Who knew? It is so nice driving around without holding the belt away from neck.

That's a great NSV - a few more pounds and the belt won't be a problem, either!

Isn't that a great feeling?! Getting my stomach off of the steering wheel was wonderful for me. Congrats!
