Love how the very first section is "Sweets"... I laughed and closed the page at that.

Ha! "Well, I have 120 press releases from different food corporations sitting on my desk. I wonder how I could make them into an article that would get me lots of clicks?" I hope the writer feels really proud of their journalism degree.

I love how they list some foods as "Promotes Weight Loss." I love Skinny Cows as much (or more!) than the next girl, but if I ate the whole pack, they would promote Type II diabetes, not weight loss. They aren't even particulary low-cal, just very portion controlled!!

Yuck to that whole article.

ha... wonder how much the companies paid to have their foods listed? Sure, there are a couple things on that list I eat (Unsweetened Almond Breeze, AkMak crackers, etc.), but even the frozen veggies have to be specific brand names??? Like Green Giant frozen green beans are better nutritionally than generic, or Dole blueberries

That article was written by an idiot who's in thrall to Big Food.

What a load of garbage!

Laughable... but sad. I can understand having some of these items as an occasional snack, but my pockets would be empty if I ate only these "name brands". Seriously, who would have the budget to buy this kind of stuff for every meal? Also, some of these items may be a better choice than others, but if you overindulge then you're going to pack on the pounds (not likely with vegetables, though).
