Default water, water, water mini goal

hey, i know this isn't a weight loss goal exactly, but it is step one in my plan.

ok today is friday november 19th.
i am cutting out ANY & ALL other drinks besides water!
im going to try and do this for one week.
that will be black friday november 25th.

yes, i will stick with it, this is just a goal as a small step towards my goals.

i know this will be hard, i live on sweet tea, milk and such.

i will try and update this post for one week and then i will make a new mini goal.

i will weigh myself today and again on black friday.

thanks for reading

Good luck.

And I do not know if it will help, it does for me. But take "try" out of your thought process. The word try always gives me room to fail.

Weird I know

You can definitely do this! I did it when i started my diet and it was hard at first, i swore i needed iced tea or something. when i realized how many calories and sugar i was wasting on drinks, i switched to water 100% and now i'm also on a "mini" goal to increase the amount of water i drink a day

It's probably good to get rid of the "sweet" in your tea and the majority of the milk, or pop, but unsweetened tea is not such a bad thing. Believe it or not I've lost over 190 pounds and never chugged water. Sure I drink it if I'm actually thirsty or hungry, (which is rarely ever), but most of my liquid come from the form of black coffee, and tea and the abundance of "juicy" veggies I consume.

i figure if i stick to this for about a week i might add unsweet tea, hot tea and such.
i would love to find a good no sugar green tea thats flavored.

so far today i have done well!
no slips, even though my sons icee smelled so good lol

I'm glad i cut sodas out years ago, then we cut out all carbonated drinks (except oj & club soda )

so I'm going out to dinner with hubby tonight.
fresh mexican, going to get a nice taco salad (avoiding the shell)
(doing some low carb)

I'll update tomorrow with my water progress

I've never been happier since switching over to water. My skin cleared up, I slept better, my hair and skin got better, etc. Good luck!

Yes, yes. Agree x200. When I started dieting I cut out sodas, juices completely. The only liquid I consume is water. After doing it for so long, I don't crave anything other than water, and feel completely awkward if I try to sip juice. My skin is so much smoother and clearer. My hair is growing like a weed. I also take a multivitamin daily, so i'm sure that aids also. But with water, it REALLY helps with the hunger also. Good luck!! Personally I think small steps are the way to go, less shock, and greater chance of keeping up with it.

I'm trying to work on a similar mini-goal lately. I drink lots of hot green tea(either unsweetened or sweetened with stevia) and I have no intention of cutting that from my plan, but I don't drink nearly enough plain water as I should.
Good luck to you!
