In the state of Utah employers are required to give employees a one hour break. However, it isn't always in a one hour block. For example, I work in the school district and typically take a 15 minute break in the morning and then a 45 minute lunch break at one o'clock. You should probably do a little research (which can be done by a quick Google
) and find out what the law requires in your state. An additional note, if you are working during your "breaks" or "lunch hour", I would bet you're not getting paid for that. Either they pay you for your overtime or you get a designated break/lunch time.
