Default What are you grateful for?

I thought it would be interesting for us to share what things (abilities, personality strengths, experiences, people, etc.) we are grateful for as it relates to our weight loss endeavors.

I am grateful that
~I love to cook and try new recipes and foods
~I am persistent and do not back down from a challenge
~I am fascinated by nutrition and exercise and consider studying it a hobby

Those are just a few of mine. WHAT ARE YOURS? Do share.

Great topic! This should be fun to see what everyone posts.

I am grateful that
~I have a wonderful husband and family (including pets).
~If I become fascinated (or worried) with a topic I pursue it endlessly.
~I have the natural ability to sing.

I am grateful for all the blessings - a wonderful husband, healthy kids, beautiful mornings, the ability to help others.

I'm grateful for lots of things these days.

-Loving family, healthy relationship with both parents
-Fantastic boyfriend who is always supportive and helpful
-Great friends here, home and elsewhere
-Stable job/income
-Being healthy - not just my "healthy" BMI but quitting smoking, exercising, eating better, and I NEVER get sick!

-My beautiful little cottage home and the financial resources to help restore it to it's cottage-y look (I LOVE my house, probably more than I should )

-An awesome job that not only allows me to help people and be an active role in my community, but also to spend time with children and work in partnership with county, district, and state courts.

-A husband who puts up with my crazy whims (ie - this weekend, ME: "let's paint the basement!" HIM:"Okay, what colour?")

-The ability to travel home to Europe and see the amazing people who have changed my life there.

-My animals: 4 cats and 2 dogs (split up among me, my sister, and my parents, but we all live close, so i get to claim them all as mine!)

-SO MUCH I could just keep writing forever
