Have you guys tried them?!? I bought them because they were on sale/way low calorie. I just made an amazing stir fry with them. This may help me with my pasta addiction, lol

I've tried them and they weren't that bad. The elasticity kind of turns me off, but the taste is just fine.

What are they made out of and where do you find them? I am always looking for a pasta alternative. I do use spaghetti squash frequently but always am looking for something different.

They're made almost 100% from the fiber of some yam plant (I think?). I buy/eat them all the time here!!! I can get them for 50 cents a pack. I probably go through 5 packs a week . Good stuff! They're pretty much zero cal and the texture doesn't really bother me at all. I rinse them well and stir fry them.

At the Japanese grocery they're in the refrigerated section of produce. I don't know where they keep them in the US. I assume somewhere in a cold case.

I get them at Meijer. They are next to the tofu in the cold cases by produce. They cost about 2 dollars for a 2 serving pack. 4 oz is 20 calories. I like the texture, kinda like al dente pasta. I boiled them for 3-4 min in vegtable broth before adding them to the stir fry.

Angie-The kind I got is like mixed with tofu, it is supposed to make the texture better. I have never had the other kind so I have nothing to compare but you might try this kind?
