Default Turbo Jam Question

Anyone doing Turbo Jam & running? I just got the DVDs a couple of weeks ago & looked at their recommended calendar. I was thinking of swapping out a couple of the cardio days with running & was curious if anyone else had taken this approach.

Haven't tried them yet. Waiting for a new TV in our basement so I can have my own workout space for DVDs .

Thanks!

I'm not an expert, but I would say that I would suggest that you follow the program and if you want to still run, maybe do it on the light days of Turbo Jam or on your rest days. I only say this because her cardio also includes some moves that help work your whole body that running may not do for you. Of course this is your choice. I did complete Turbo Jam a little over a year ago and had very good results, but due to an injury earlier this year, I am having to start all over again. I am currently in week 2 of Turbo Fire and loving it.

I combine running and Turbo Jam for my workouts. I agree with kenari in that I don't want to miss out on the full body workout. I pretty much do the standard beginner schedule and add runs in to that. I do my longer runs on the rest days and do shorter runs on any days I do the 20 min video, sculpt, or abs. I usually don't run if I do the cardio party. Usually there is about 1 day a week that I just skip working out all together or just go for a long walk with my dog as a break. I've been doing this routine for a few weeks and it's working well for me. Hope this helps!

Default I include Turbo Jam in my workouts

I don't follow their plan but on the rainy or cold days I do that inside and then I power walk on the nice days.

I love it! I think it's a lot of fun!
